Terms of Registration and Cancellation

Please carefully review the following terms and conditions for participating in the WCF Olimpia 2025 Cat Show:


Eligibility
  • Only cats listed in the Show Catalogue are eligible to participate in the event.
  • Exhibitors with outstanding debts to KMFC are not permitted to participate.

Show Catalogue and Late Entries
  • The Show Catalogue will close on 09.05.2025 at 23:59. or when the certain number of cats is reached
  • Entries submitted after this date will incur a 30% surcharge on the total registration fee.

Payment Policy
  • After registration, the organizer will contact you with the exact calculation of fees.
  • The total fee must be paid within 10 days of receiving the calculation.
  • All fees must be paid no later than the closing of the Show Catalogue (09.05.2025).
  • Failure to pay within the specified timeline may result in the cancellation of your registration.

Refund Policy
  • No refunds will be issued after 09.05.2025.
  • In the event of unforeseen circumstances (force majeure), exhibitors may replace a registered cat after 09.05.2025, but no refunds will be provided.

Fee Obligation
  • Exhibitors are obligated to pay the registration fee for each cat listed in the Show Catalogue, regardless of attendance.

Veterinary Control
  • Cats that do not pass the veterinary control check upon arrival are not eligible for financial reimbursement.

Cage Requirements
  • All cages must be decorated in accordance with the event’s Cage Decoration Guidelines, which include:
    • Available water, food, and litter for the comfort and well-being of the cats.

Veterinary Conditions

To ensure the health and safety of all participants, all cats must meet the following veterinary and vaccination requirements:


Mandatory Vaccinations

All participating cats must be vaccinated against the following diseases:

  • Feline Panleukopenia (FPV):
    Vaccination against FPV, commonly known as feline distemper, is required.

  • Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Calicivirus (FVRCP):
    Protection against these respiratory viruses is mandatory.

  • Rabies (for cats coming from outside Croatia):
    Cats must have a valid rabies vaccination administered according to the manufacturer’s guidelines and local regulations.


Microchipping
  • All participating cats must be microchipped for identification purposes.
  • The microchip number must match the registration details provided to the organizer.

Vaccination Validity
  • Rabies Vaccination:

    • Must be administered at least 21 days prior to the show.
    • Kittens under 16 weeks old must be vaccinated against rabies but do not require the 21-day activation period, provided their mother has a valid rabies vaccination.
  • Age and Primary Vaccinations for Kittens:

    • Kittens must be at least 12 weeks old to participate.
    • They must have completed their primary vaccination series (minimum of two doses).

Parasite Control
  • All cats must be free of:
    • External Parasites: No fleas, ticks, or mites.
    • Internal Parasites: Recent deworming (within 14 days) is strongly recommended.

Pregnancy Restrictions
  • Pregnant or lactating cats are not permitted to participate in the show.

On-Site Veterinary Inspection
  • A licensed veterinarian will inspect all cats upon arrival at the show.
  • Cats showing any of the following will be disqualified and must be removed from the venue:
    • Signs of illness.
    • Evidence of external or internal parasites.
    • Failure to meet vaccination requirements.

Cage Decoration Guidelines

To ensure uniformity, comfort, and a professional appearance at the WCF Olimpia 2025 Cat Show, please adhere to the following cage decoration and setup standards:


Cage Specifications
  • Club Cages:
    Each exhibitor will be provided with a club cage measuring approximately 70 cm (width) x 70 cm (depth) x 65 cm (height). One cat is allowed per single cage.

  • Double Cages:
    Double cages are available for larger cats upon request and require payment of a special fee.

  • Own Cages:
    Exhibitors bringing their own cages must adhere to the following rules:

    • The reserved table length will match the dimensions provided to the organizer during registration.
    • Extra Charges:
      • Cages longer than 80 cm for a kitten or junior will incur an extra fee.
      • Cages longer than 110 cm for an adult cat will incur an extra fee.

Cage Curtains
  • Side and Back Panels:
    For club cages, exhibitors must use opaque or semi-opaque fabrics to cover the sides and back, ensuring privacy and reducing distractions.

  • Top Covering:
    A fabric cover is required for the top of the cage to shield cats from overhead lighting and reduce stress.

  • Bottom Lining:
    A soft, absorbent material such as a towel or blanket must be used to line the cage floor for the cat’s comfort.


Color Scheme
  • Creativity is encouraged, but all decorations must use tasteful and coordinated colors that do not distract from neighboring exhibits or obstruct the view of other cages.

Accessories
  • Food and Water Dishes:
    Securely attachable bowls are recommended to prevent spillage.

  • Litter Tray:
    A small, hygienic litter tray should be placed in the cage and cleaned regularly throughout the event.


Prohibited Items

To ensure fairness and maintain a professional appearance, the following items are not allowed in cages:

  • Own Marketing Materials:
    Personal banners, signage, or promotional visuals that obstruct the view of neighboring exhibits or distract visitors.

  • Excessive Decorations:
    Avoid large or excessive decorative items that encroach on adjacent cages or obstruct the view of the cat.

  • Electrical Devices:
    Heating pads, fans, or any other electrical appliances are prohibited.


Grooming Tables
  • Optional Rental:
    Exhibitors may rent extra grooming table space, which can be used to display banners and other promotional materials for catteries.

Safety and Cleanliness
  • All materials used in decorations must be non-toxic, flame-retardant, and securely fastened to prevent accidental ingestion or entanglement.
  • Maintain cleanliness throughout the event by promptly replacing soiled bedding or decorations.
